Today we all went to the river. We then went to look for gold in the river. Then we walked all the way to the school and did our performance and sang ¡È We are the World¡É by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie. It all went very well! We all said our good byes to the kids at school and center. Then we walked back and on the way stopped at the convinence store and got ice cream! It was delicious!

Today was a late start for the campers. Instead of 6:30 we all woke up at 8 since we stayed up late last night celebrating the adventurous days we spent at camp namiai with the people we spent it with. Today the campers made their own soba noodles and ate it for lunch with tempura. After the fulfilling meal we all sweated the calories off by playing baseball with the center kids. When we were once again hungry after moving around underneath the sun a nice warm dinner awaited us at the lodge. When it got dark the campers played with fireworks and stayed up pretty late, hopefully we won¡Çt find ourselves tomorrow waking up at 8 again.

Today was a fun day! In the morning we practiced our projects, and had feedback from our peers. Then we went to play at the river, it was a lot of fun! We had two parts to play in, with each a certain time! The first one was a strong part where a current would wash you away! The second part was a weaker part with a deep spot to jump into!
